@LeeHAuthor East Street Sports Centre in Sittingbourne. One of the venues for training during my time at Hammerlock, after they moved from No Limits in Ashford.
Also the venue of a legendary show just over thirty years ago titled 'Hammerlock Goes Hardcore'.
Remember that one? @PhilJones77

I preferred the one about the flies at Waffle House. This doesnt even have a punchline.

Fake friends are no different than shadows, they stick around during your brightest moments, but disappear during your darkest hours.

@LeeHAuthor He did. I was at Hammerlock at the time. Well, he was there in body at least...

@LeeHAuthor I've just realised who you are, sorry🤣 Your book is incredible, legit one of the best wrestling books I have ever read!

English

@benjimjamin @fesshole Haha I don’t even pretend. They always know.
English

@LeeHAuthor 2/300 tops? It was a pretty small hall in the leisure centre hahaha
English

@LeeHAuthor Young me was buzzing to see blood splatter on the floor, in hindsight that was pretty nuts for what was meant to be a family friendly show.
English

@hoganbeyy A fork!? How many people were there? A fork feels like a 1,000 people minimum deal.
English

@LeeHAuthor Ahh ok my bad, I misread & thought there's never been an East Street Leisure Centre in Ashford haha. I would've been about 9/10 so 2001 I want to say? I'm sure Sinn Bodhi was there too, but I remember him being on a few shows inc. a hardcore match vs Gary Steele using a fork...
English

@hoganbeyy Yeah the show was at the Stour Centre but this was taken at the sports centre a few weeks before. Jim Neidhart is wild! Which year was that?

English

@LeeHAuthor It was actually the Stour Centre, for NWA Hammerlock and I can confirm as I was at that show & have a polaroid with him in the loft somewhere haha. Went to all the shows, saw Jim Neidhart there, as well as this Irish lad called Fergal Devitt. Don't know what happened to him...

@LeeHAuthor About eighteen years ago, I was given the email address of Jake’s UK based PA. I used to email asking random stuff (favourite crisp flavour, thoughts on Rick Martell , who would win the 2007/08 Championship). The reply was mostly always ‘Jake doesn’t have an opinion on that.’

@LeeHAuthor Turns out is was the Southampton FC Christmas party. Oceana was less than a couple of years old at the time and had an amazing reputation (its first year on operation it won the best club in the U.K. award). Dennis Wise was dressed as a WW1 general, David Prutton as a cow 🤣
English

Haha a group of us were sat at at table in the VIP room at Oceana Kingston back in maybe 2005. Lundekvam, dressed as Superman comes and sits with us. Chats for a while and is HAMMERED. After a few minutes, we move into another room. (1/2)

🇳🇴 Before Haaland, Ødegaard, Carew, Solskjaer, Riise, Berg and Johnson, there was one Norweigen football legend in the Premier League. 🔴⚪ But who is he?
English

@allan_cheapshot @stuhardy1979 That’s the one. It is on Cagematch — which I didn’t expect! Crazy to think he was still only 43 here.

English

@LeeHAuthor @stuhardy1979 It was mentioned in Powerslam iirc. Ran under the Hammerlock banner.
