@IANdrewDiceClay @JustinWhang People got behind Austin because there wasn’t an entertainer on earth who could do what he did.
English

@JustinWhang "Who wouldnt want to punch their boss in the face?" would have been a decent theory if Austin wasnt already the hottest thing in wrestling by the summer of 1997 while Vince McMahon still had his denim jacket on pretending to be Eric Bischoff on commentary.
English

@GregLam72 hi Greg. I’ve sent you a DM but thought I should follow up to let you know it’s a genuine message as people are rightly quite suspicious of DM scams. Thanks, Lee.
English

@hmfc_ian @JESnowden This is really good “The Lamentable Tragedy of World Class”.
English

@JESnowden Have you listened to the Lapsed Fan's episodes on WCW and the Von Erichs in general?
English

@TOTDevils @ianirving_ @Ankaman616 @lauriewhitwell Some people need a coffee first thing to get them going; I play this.
English

With Casemiro's time at Manchester United nearing its end, the guys look back on his four years at the club and try to determine which season was his best.

@LeeHAuthor It was a long time ago. I think it could work.
There was a UFC fight like 20 years ago where Matt Lindland tapped out and then pretended he didn't and the guy had to tap him a second time.
English

Has a BJJ “Brazilian tap” ever been used as a pro wrestling spot? If it hasn’t, bookers can have that one for free.
Probably one for @JESnowden
English

@LeeHAuthor @No4375843 I hate sitting on the floor level unless I'm at the front because once you're so far back you can't see anything below the middle rope.
Last 2 All In's I've sat in block 144 and 110 - both great but ticket prices in 144 are at least 2x that of 110 and I'm in 110 this year too.
English

@LeeHAuthor Absolutely. Have been to every AEW ppv in the UK so far and won't be missing this year's either :) Can't wait!!
English

@LeeHAuthor Gunther did it against AJ Styles earlier this year. AJ let go of the hold, Gunther got the win.
English

@LeeHAuthor I’ll be there too.
Coming down to Wembley for my first time
English

@ryansatin How is this guy not in politics yet? He’s made for it!
English

@MarkDob_ No just travel and accommodation so far. Thanks for the tip, I want a good view!
English

@LeeHAuthor Have you got your tickets? If not, avoid sitting on the shorter sides, go for the longer sides if you can 😅
English

@MarkDob_ Cool! First time at Wembley for me. I haven’t actually been since it was rebuilt! Showing my age.
English

@opearman @Bobstain_88 Haha yeah, that’s true! One of the things I liked about AEW Collision this week, apart from the amazing setting and awesome main event, was that it was short and sweet. Leave people wanting more, not yawning!
English

@LeeHAuthor @Bobstain_88 “Less is more” should be professional wrestling’s mantra in so many areas…
English

@opearman @Bobstain_88 He’s super over but I don’t trust creative not to burn it out. He could have real longevity if used sparingly, but I fear they will look at merch sales and flog it to death. Less is more when it comes to gags.
English

@Bobstain_88 @LeeHAuthor When he signed, I anticipated he would be a decent fit for AAA. I suspect if / when US audiences tire of him eventually (which won’t happen anytime soon, he’s super over), he will be moved to the Mexican division where the character would work well long term
English

@oneilla828 @JESnowden They did it so the timekeeper could see it. I’m imagining the babyface just feeling a tap and letting go because they have morals and play by the rules. Not sure if it really translates, but just a silly idea I had when explaining the concept to a newbie at training this week!
English

@oneilla828 @JESnowden Ahhh SummerSlam. Very well remembered! I’ve just watched and that was a proper tap rather than a “Brazilian”, I was thinking of something a bit more sneaky for a villain. But yeah, definitely a similar idea with it being out of the ref’s sight.
