We want to thank our Albany Books-A-Million and their shoppers! They recently donated over $3,000 worth of books to our school from their Summer Book Drive. We are so thankful for their generosity!

We’re so excited that Books-A-Million at the Albany Mall is holding a book drive for us! The event kickoff is this Friday, July 28 at 2pm at Books-A-Million. We can’t wait! If you can’t make it, ask them next time you’re there about how you can donate books to LCMS West!

Today is School Principals’ Day, and we want to recognize our principal, John Savelle! He works tirelessly to support the students and faculty at LCMS West, and we’re so grateful for him! He’s the best!

While we were out of school for Spring Break last week, we missed celebrating our amazing assistant principals during Assistant Principal Appreciation Week! We have the best APs around, and we appreciate all they do for the faculty, staff, and students of LCMS West!

Mrs. Gill and Mrs. Duckworth are hosting Spring Title Night for their classes on April 27!

Our baseball team is having an amazing season, and they’re playing against East today at 4:30 for the Deep South Conference Baseball Championship! The game will be played at our campus. Come out this afternoon and support our team!

Our faculty and staff celebrated Pi Day today—with many different types of pies! Thanks to Mr. Savelle, Mrs. Odom, Mrs. Faircloth, and her students who provided us with such delicious treats! 🥧

It's National Glazed Donut Day! Mr. Savelle, with the help of Coach Suggs and Coach Bonner, provided coffee and donuts for our faculty and staff this morning. What a great way to start the day!

Yesterday was National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and we want to let our wonderful SRO, Officer Allen Barnhill, just how much we appreciate him! Thank you for helping keep our school safe!
