@LeeReichenbach2 In this specific case, I would have assumed Lockridge had a lower value to potential suitors as he didnt really have many at bats while they were able to see the offensive and defensive upside of Collins. Main point being, I’m glad they made the trade

I hear you BUT they didn't lose to the Bears playoff because guys were losing a bunch of 1v1s outside. Same with the Eagles playoff game. Same with the 49ers playoff game. Their lack of high-end CB talent has not been a hinderance to their success.

@Peter_Bukowski GB needs an outside cornerback who can cover top-tier outside receivers in one-on-one scenarios

Gutey has done a nice job in FA adding depth and improving the ST. But with Gannon switching to a 3-4 GB needs a NT. Calais Campbell to Green Bay would feed families! #GoPackGo

@Peter_Bukowski The head scratcher here is that they end up trotting Melton or Health out there anyway, now Heath is gone so they need a new 6th WR to do it with….

Had this conversation on radio the other day: you think you have WR depth and then all of a sudden you’re trying to win games throwing to Jared Abbrederis and Jeff Janis (respectfully to legends). But if it could land you something significant, it’s worth the risk.
Aaron Nagler@AaronNagler

Packers fans want to trade away Wicks or Reed and then complain when Bo Melton is out there on a crucial 4th down. I get its roster building season but it makes zero sense to trade away any of their WR depth.

Yes, that was extremely dumbfounding and disappointing. I just don’t understand how you draft a guy like that in the 1st Round then play him out of position and say he’s the one who failed to meet expectations!?!
Aaron Nagler@AaronNagler

@Tpars_boii @TheSageHitman33 We did a whole podcast two years ago when Hafley was hired about how Walker was OBVIOUSLY a Will and they were clearly going to move him. Then they drafted Cooper and kept him where he was and we were both dumbfounded lol

@MatthewMKE98 It is a great point, but seemingly one (injuries) we endure every year at levels higher than *most of our competitors, why?

He makes a fair point Lost Parsons, Wyatt, Tom, half their O Line, Kraft, had 2 top WR miss half the year, QB missed the final 3 games, and still went and won 9 games You now addressed ST heavy, improved the CB room a tad, and u get those guys back healthy, and added depth on DL 11+ wins easy, simply off addition by subtraction and addressing special teams Dude knows ball
the dude@Thedudex414

@TheoAshNFL Green Bay’s backups won 9 games

I still think they need to address DT early in the draft. They can’t put all their eggs in this basket. I’d even take one in the second round if one is available. That group was so so bad last year.

I do not care about comp picks. Can they get a DT that will help them? Cool. Sign him. I'm not looking at comp pick formulas.
Ellis@EMHawkeye

@DustyEvely Most likely DT they add that won’t cost a comp pick?

@Peter_Bukowski Given the drastic drop off, does anyone wonder if maybe his knee is just not 100% right? I mean like 7.5 sacks in less than first half the season, then absolute nothing? Couple games in second half he didn’t record a stat…

It’s also objectively hilarious to act like no one asked “why” Rashan Gary stopped producing. Not only did that happen but it’s obvious on tape: the effort was poor, the conditioning was worse, the production was negligible and he got shadow benched. We saw it.

Here’s my question. According to reports the Eagles have made Jalen Carter available. He is arguably their best DLineman. So why would they make him available after just 3 years? If reports are true and he is available it’s fairly easy to figure out why
