@LeehamsonThe3rd @Stoltho I saw ur frame data post and it looks genius. Im curious though, do you have a tool to draw out hitboxes visually before implementing them? or do you just code it manually and test if its right size and the right position. Ive always wondered if there if a better method than that

@SKATERSTUDIOS there are a few reasons i don't do this. for one, it's easier to create tables to handle this. I also use a custom animation player because my game runs as at a fixed step at 60fps. I need determinism and precision so this is read along with the animation keyframes.

in my efforts to make my framedata system as modular as I can. I've found it wonderful adding these trigger tables which i can use to spawn different effects whilst an animation is playing! #robloxdev

(3/?) This could be problematic when it comes to mobile players who are on the go or generally unstable connections. In that case I may try and give the user a warning if put against a problematic player, we'll cross the bridge when we get there though.

[🧵] I've noticed many people talk about how netplay may suck with my game. Now in all honesty, this could be true. While I have added rollback netcode to retro fighter, we still must go through roblox servers instead of a direct P2P approach.
