Our winter bingo has earned us a cozy and movie day, perfect on this blustery January Friday! ☃️☃️☃️

Congratulations to our very own Cedar Lane Spelling Bee champion…Kruthi!!! You and Ryan did an amazing job!!

Our medical students got to engage in nonfiction surgery today as they “saved some passages” aka patients from their text features!

My favorite part was them cheering each other on and celebrating a successful egg together 🫶

Today we did our final round of the egg drop competition FROM THE ROOF! We had 4 finalists and 3 out of the 4 remained successful. We got to see the difference in kinetic and potential energy- plus what impacts the amount of energy. YEA SCIENCE!!

The exit ticket today to write a question for the answer “2023”. We have such a diverse group of minds! Look at their creativity and math EXPERTISE!

Fun before winter break!! We enjoyed both the Trailside Middle and our school wide sing alongs. Plus we celebrated with some spirit days for the teachers too 🎄🥳☃️

What’s a better way to understand mixtures and solutions? With a potions lab! Students got to make Harry Potter potions and determine whether they could separate them back out…

Super proud of our class for earning the 5th grade 1st quarter dojo points!! 🏅🎉🏅🎉

Using what’s relevant..students competed in teams during our FIFA Fraction Cup! Congratulations to the Netherlands for winning 🏅🏅
