Der Vorsitzende der Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Prof. Dr. Heinz Bierbaum (@LeftHeinz) nahm an der Weltfriedenskonferenz gegen Atomwaffen in Hiroshima teil und warnte vor der Eskalation von Konflikten und Kriegen in Europa und im Indo-Pazifik.

Der Vorsitzende der RLS @LeftHeinz hat gestern gemeinsam mit Canan Kus (RLS China) den Vorsitzenden des Zentralkommitees der Kommunistischen Partei Japans @shiikazuo getroffen. Es war ein intensiver Austausch über Linke Kräfte in Ostasien, Frieden und die neue multipolare Weltordnung.

Democratic control is crucial in order to prevent a purely capitalist modernisation that is barely green at all. We need public investments in infrastructure, social services, housing,transports, education and culture, as well as in the protection of the environmental commons.

Energy&housing are common goods not market commodities. We need a different energy policy in public ownership & democratic control to guarantee energy affordable for everyone and to replace fossil energies with renewables onesWe can't leave the necessary transition to the market.

In view of the enormous living costs we have to combat for decent living conditions for all. Resistance against the skyrocketing prices for energy and food is growing all over Europe. “Enough is Enough” is the moto. European Left supports this mobilisation. #ELCONGRESS22

We start the #ELCONGRESS2022 in Wien. To combat the multiple crisis, and build a better world, the Left must rediscover internationalism. We need future-oriented projects and crisis-proof policy in the fight against inequality and climate change.
