Context: Tobias Harris was a Mc Donald’s All-American. He averaged 24 points 14 rebounds per game in High School…and he was a “one and done” at Tennessee. Nope. Folks don’t get to play this game. “Anonymous Sources,” whom NBA journalist have cited repeatedly, have said that Brown wasn’t even 7th best on his team, and that White is a top 5 player in the league. He’s an NBA All Star, and an Olympic gold medalists. Based on that and Boston having the “Coach of the Year” in Joe, and “Executive of the Year” in Brad, the Celtics should not only be fine, they should be a 1 seed and have 60+ wins next season. I mean with Brown leading the way they were a 2 seed with 56 wins.

With the Celts officially going with more a Tatum + Friends plan moving forward, it should not be ignored how many of the "good/contending" teams in the league still have a foundation of multiple All NBA players from any of the 3 teams (1st, 2nd, 3rd Team All NBA) NYK: Brunson/KAT PHI: Brown/Maxey/Embiid (when healthy) CLE: Mitchell/Mobley TOR: Barnes/Kawhi DET: Cade/Duren OKC: SGA/Chet/JDub (when healthy) DEN: Jokic/Murray There's of course Wemby and SA who don't, but I think most would agree All NBA is in Dylan Harper's future. MIA doesn't (just Bam All NBA Defense), which is the risk for them and Giannis as well Even with the lean towards analytics and all that, at the end of the day, the best teams still have multiple top 15 talents for the most part The 2026-27 Tatum Celtics are about to test that theory
