Awooooo! The middle Story Bocs is the one that has caused @LeftToeDjinn and I to do the most giggling behind the scenes, in part because we're getting to tell the tale using old school pop-up mechanisms, which seemed appropriate given the subject matter (more on that tomorrow).

Israeli government officials are getting more flagrant in their genocidal language. Each day, a gov or military representative says “yes we want to kill every single Gazan and build a resort on their remains” and the west is like “war is tough what can you do.”

Israeli ambassador to Germany outright arguing the bombing campaign on Gaza is necessary to prevent Muslims conquering Europe and “eliminating us all”. This kind of paranoid bigotry would have been the preserve of fringe online racists not that long ago.

Gaza is at a stage now where retrieving bodies from under the rubble is a luxury. Burying them is a luxury. Finding a body fully intact is a luxury. A few hours sleep is a luxury. Finding water, even if contaminated, is a luxury. We have failed them. We have failed them.
