@futurewas8bit Picked up a Tapuino SD, so I'm *finally* able to play some of the cool VIC-20 games you've featured on your channel. Lots of games seem to be in PAL, but hey, over 80,000 in Outworld is not bad for seeing half of the screen... 😉

@cybercultx I wanna say around a week and a half, but I'm not sure. I'm in Western NY. The caps went to Illinois and then were forwarded to me from there, delivered by USPS.

If something truly adds value, it will make it to the marketplace eventually. Had I not cared about colors I'd have them already. 😮‍💨

@RetroWizzard Thank you! I haven't cracked this open yet, but if it is a Rev. B I'll remove the cap as you suggest, I don't like cutting traces if I don't have to.

@LeftovrBeefcake Absolutely lovely machine.😍 Congrats! 👏 Watch out for the board revision when doing the mod. Rev. B needs a trace cut or cap removed, I prefer the latter as it's reversible.

I've got a true rarity on the Beefcake Bench™ which is one of my #Commdore 8 bit Holy Grail machines - The MAX Machine!!! 😍😮 Just gotta do the composite mod and build a cable to see if this beauty works or not. And yes, the keyboard is truly as terrible as they say. ;)

@MindFlareRetro Good ol' eBay. :) Uncle Sam didn't need all the money I gave him last year, so he gave some back, and when this popped up for sale, I couldn't resist. The exterior is in excellent shape. I just hope everything's working.

@Stressed_Local Yeah you're really not going to need an 060 board with what the PiStorm gives you. 😁 My only advice is to make sure you check that the 40 pin connector looks like the one pictured, if it's taller, it's not the right one and will not connect to your Pi properly.

FINALLY got the PiStorm32-lite installed in the ol' A1200 and running after changing the incorrect 40 pin connector that was installed... 🤬 The Pi3B is a tad less speedy than a Pi 3B+ but *wow* does this thing fly! AMOS tutorial programs run so insanely quick! 😍😍😍

@Claude1079 Aha, that confirms my suspicions, thank you! I had followed every setup tutorial out there to the letter, tried two different Pi3B, and nothing. Then I noticed the header. 🤬 Thanks again for your help and for creating this amazing accelerator, can't wait to finally see it fly!

@LeftovrBeefcake That doesn't look good, I think the header doesn't make contact to the pi pins :/

@Claude1079 Sorry to bother you - I'm trying to troubleshoot why my PiStorm32 isn't working & I noticed the 40 pin connector is different from what I see on other boards. The Pi3B gets power and boots to Emu68 screen but the Amiga doesn't see the card. Is the connector wrong?

Got some free time to assemble the #Amiga PiStorm32-lite, and why oh why do companies NEVER include **extra** of the fiddly little parts like spacers that are inevitably going to fly off never to be seen again? These spacers probably cost less than a penny. 🤬 #IncludeExtras
