@dan_back If my kid traded for the card, I would make him give it back (and have in a very similar situation). If he traded the good card, I would tell him he should’ve done his research and that’s the cost of not doing so.

Parent question: Teenage boys (11-12) collect cards and buy/trade from each other. One kid buys a card from another for $2.00….turns out the card is worth $1,000. Other kids find out, start teasing the kid who got fleeced & his mom finds out and is pissed. Demands the kid return the card to her son. Kid claims he didn’t know it was worth that much at time of purchase. What’s the proper resolution?
