@tigerfly22 It is the brain's attempt to solve a problem (trauma/insecurity) that occurred during the most vulnerable years of life. While the behavior is destructive & often lacks remorse, it is rarely "born," but rather "built" by outside influences.

@tigerfly22 It’s also important to remember that people with NPD are often people who have experienced trauma during developmental years. For many, narcissism is actually a compensatory mechanism & is almost always a reactive condition.

Is narcissism treatable? From what I understand, it’s more of a brain wiring and not so much a personality disorder. It’s a lack of empathy in brain scans + entitlement. It lends to manipulation they feel no remorse for. In any regard, I believe this is what Coercive Control is

‘narcissistic abuse’ is literally just psychological abuse. sometimes called mental abuse or emotional abuse, but officially it is called psychological abuse. it can involve manipulation, direct insults, gaslighting, exploitation, isolation, coercive control, etc.

In Depp v NGN, Depp & his legal team withheld texts that were relevant. Depp’s legal team gave NGN 70,000 texts unintentionally & the Australia drug texts were found. The judge called Depp’s failure of discovery “totally incompetent” but did not sanction him or dismiss the case.

One thing I still don't understand is how Heard got away with not turning in all of her text messages. Like how was the trial even able to go on without her doing so? At the very least she shouldve been sanctioned and the jury shouldve been made aware...

@TruthLoverNo1 @JungleJuice786 I was confusing standard discovery and the forensic imaging order—they were ordered as part of the standard discovery. Heard did produce text messages, but Depp complained about the volume, especially the amount from 2015-2016. Judge A denied his motion for sanctions in the end.

@LegacyDuel @JungleJuice786 Actually, that's not true. Heard claims that she lost the messages from the time of her marriage to Johnny and some time after in the process of changing phones. The messages were very much relevant, they just disappeared conveniently.
