@jvin248 @gwiesefarms I think the best value is in 12 row planters. Not much more expensive than a 6 row and twice the productivity. 6 row planters take so long to lay out fields and finish up point rows. So much turning around

@gwiesefarms The tractor to pull a 6-row planter can be much cheaper than the usual modern huge planters. So if you are asking your question on what equipment to buy this spring, that is a real consideration Instead of a 12-row, run two 6-row planters with smaller tractors = breakdown backup.
