If Liverpool add pace and dynamism in attack and progression from midfield / defence in the summer, they’ll go a long way to fix the issues this season.
Whether Slot implements them effectively remains to be seen, but he won’t be around forever either way.

@A_GymGuy This just kills me. Why does a player have to accept a bench role because that's what fans want, especially if he can play first choice elsewhere? These fans live in an alternate reality I swear, complaining when players leave or don't leave or don't leave the way they want.

Because Jurgen Klopp gave him a career he could have only dreamed of and in return asked for a season from him in a ‘lesser role’ and instead of seeing how that played out he sulked straight off to Saudi Arabia.

@chomakovg At this point, I've just accepted that our style of play and player profiles will fundamentally change. It's not particularly the DM or style I would like to see, but it's the profile the current manager wants for the style he apparently wants to play. It is what it is.

@A_GymGuy Yes, but access to resources and time make an even bigger difference in the American context given that our infrastructure and work culture is different. We commute long hours to work and many don't have access to public transportation. But I get what you're saying to an extent.

@A_GymGuy being highlighted so much because of how poor this season is. Someone put the leadership group city have/are losing over the last 2 years and it’s just as much as us.

@A_GymGuy I know this happens to most clubs eventually, but just didn't see change this drastic happening to LFC after how we mamaged last season. Not to be pessimistic, but the track record for clubs with turnovers this massive and sudden isn't great. May get worse before it gets better.

@NotSlotaClue Revisionism is not helpful either in support of or against Slot or Klopp. Different contexts. Also, what a prior manager won or did not win is irrelevant to a current manager's performance. Different tactics, different personality, different team. Should be judged accordingly.

@NotSlotaClue It's dumb when people say "Slot won it with Klopp's team." You can only beat what's in front of you. But you also use revisionism for Klopp's last year and cherrypick context. If only "facts" count w/o context, then factually Klopp's points also win a PL title in Slot's year.

Seeing alot of Klopp v Slot talk & some are actually backing Slot. Klopp not only would've won the league last season, he would have also won it this season. The standard has lowered massively. Slot is a terrible coach. Fans thinking otherwise are just unintelligent idiots.
