Many have never bought stock before, they heard GTCO paid 11.75 per share and that Zenith paid almost 9 that was the excitement for some group. Another group saw the bank rally and have calculated that there is no way UBA would not enter the 70/80 territories. Two groups are disappointed now, no Dividend, and no capital appreciation. UBA might sink initially then come back up, but they might not touch the 60 naira region till Q3.

Access Bank is more systemic than GTBank because it lends more to the real sector and has a wider reach in 🇳🇬. GT acts more like Goldman Sachs, it focuses more on Return on Equity and cost efficiency
