It might not seem like much to the untrained eye, but this upcoming update means that the Hypixel server will be able to support new Minecraft features that we have been missing out in the past 10 years or so. This new backend system allows us to support new 1.21+ features while still allowing 1.8.9+ to connect to the rest of the server. This also opens up the possibility to add new models, textures, blocks, UI and many more features. We can even make new minigames to Hypixel go wild with game design. After the Foraging update is released, the team will be sharing more upcoming features and games to the server that uses such features, stay tuned😎

Foraging update will use new Minecraft blocks/items and more. This alone is a big deal for content but the team will keep working to be able to use custom 3D models / more and the possibilities will become endless. Imagine a boss fight with custom model.. just saying the stuff we could do in Skyblock would become infinite. We should also work on new player experience but thats a far future, adding UI features and other neat elements to improve player experience All this will require massive investment for artists/devs so it will be quite the challenge! Been through fire and hell many times, thriving under chaos, its gonna be fun times ahead and Im investing heavily to make this happen
