@dom_lucre Why do people think this was a Drake diss because Drake is living in rapping about the shit that he do that’s the big part of the criticism that he get that people want him to grow up and do something else so I don’t know how this was a shot.

🧊🚨HARD NEWS: Jay-Z ran to The New York Times to take shots at Drake 3 weeks ago by claiming older rappers can’t connect to the youth because he claims it looks forced and ‘inauthentic’ while praising Clipse album.
This same Clipse album has raps about selling cocaine while recording in a multimillion dollar studio owned by Louis Vuitton in Paris exclusive to them and Pharrell in addition to being invited to and collab with elite fashion shows while still rapping about crime and drugs.

Drake will reportedly release another new album in the upcoming months
This will be his first album that’s not under UMG

@MegaFunTweets @PorshaDeshannon We honing to get Taylor Swift signed to the Kansas City Chiefs if Drake sets the precedent 😭

Drake is better off going independent and in doing so, UMG will be struggling to convince other top artists to renew their licensing deals.
I suspect the board will fire Lucian for mishandling Drake if he exits UMG.
Them selling off part of the stake in Spotify to buy back their shares is probably an attempt to thwarte a takeover from Bill Ackman or them getting ready to exit.

I'm so glad I put myself in a social media blackout before listening to Drake's albums. The opinions on here, in comparison to how I felt about the projects, are night and day.
There's still so much to explore, but overall, it was a very pleasant listening experience. For anybody to say that this was bad or even mid is just attempting to generate some sort of engagement.
Each of these albums is for a different demo of Drake's fan base, which is also a slight flex in that the people that were hating on him are incapable of doing something like that, unless they had him featuring on the song, ironically enough.
I know that it's good because I cannot wait to listen to this at least another 3-10 times over the next week, which is not something that many albums have done for me in the past six months, with the exception of "Octane" by Don Toliver.
(I love this outro, such a standout)
