I was big on Marcus Derrickson back in 2018. Really good shooter at Georgetown. This year in the G League he averaged 13 PPG and 5 RPG on 44% shooting and 33% from 3, but his shot chart isn't bad beyond the left wing. I still buy his upside as a shooter off the bench in the NBA

As NBA/NBPA talks on eliminating one-and-done remain stalled, strengthening the pro pathway initaitive became even more important to Adam Silver. In many ways, this is a bridge to that eventual day. LaMelo Ball and RJ Hampton signing in Australia accelerated these changes.

Today was a revolutionary day for the NBA G League with the announcement of Jalen Green and Isaiah Todd to the NBA G League. We've seen prospects be drafted out of the G-League (PJ Hairston, for example) and this is clearly a new trend.
