This is mostly correct but the bottom line is: the general audience doesn't give a fuck
The screen quality difference is not something you can easily awooga at unlike the big ass IMAX screen and Dolby's name just doesn't carry the same pull

Marvel isn’t worried about ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’ not being in IMAX theaters and here’s why you shouldn’t either. Dolby is just better image and audio quality. If you want that OLED brightness and color like on an iPhone, you’ll only get it in Dolby Cinema. Dolby Cinema screens are also different sizes based on location so you may have a larger sized (70 ft) Dolby screen near you. Inversely, IMAX has many smaller screens (33-50ft) based on location.

Being straight up, people really need to be told when a story is over, it's over. You do not need to be told about everything in a story.
You are given enough to put it together yourself, you can read and think about it, keep talking about it, that's what a good story does
