Open letter to @CryptoGarga and @yugalabs ⬇️ 6 months ago I stated that @BoredApeYC was silently losing all its members day after day. Garga stepped into my DMs asking what I suggested they shall improve. I answered. Never got a feedback. Here is my opinion, written with the shared concern or support of a few fellow @FrenchApeYC, @marcelhabibi @LabMax @dim8765 @dyorjdr @evomaster427 @Chrispodz68 @etherandrum among others. ➡️ Hey Garga, I appreciate the fact that you're open to the discussion, here are what I (and quite a lot of other French Apes, i asked for their opinion too before answering) think: Its not just a matter of more of this or that, sometimes its also a matter of "less of this or that" So here are our main ideas: Biggest thought: the Club should be seen as the main pillar, its Members as main audience 1- Encourage and use the power of dedicated sub communities (especially the ones per countries), why no one is building with us, why no one is listening to our ideas? in quite a lot of countries, we are well structured, long time friends and partners, long time holders, entrepreneurs, seeing each others every single month). Just to give you an idea, in 2025 we mainly talked about everything related to crypto except yuga related topics lol. Our bayc / otherside / chans are dead cuz there is almost nothing to talk about. (Since then almost all my fellow french apes sold their apes…) 2- Recover the vibe esp social media content, art direction and global lore (its been truely lost, damn the level on twitter is really low since a few weeks, stop reposting everything everyday and just start again to be creative, insolent, brilliant, mocking sometimes. See how gordon writes? then that should be the tone of the voice of the club on social media imo) 3- Develop BAYC Brand and IP. Updates on club house? Build publicly? 4- Stop wasting ressources in useless things (Alpine partnerships and other BB deals) 5- Focus on apechain as infrastructure for OtherSide (rest is useless for apechain, it could have been what Abstract Chain is right now, but now its too late and its not useful anymore). 6- Admit failures and don't ignore members/holders who have been abandonned (HVmtl / lotm). (Since then, Adam took over) 7- Stop false promises (BAYC LLC) and communicate whenever it happens 8- Don't make make things to make things if the quality is not here (BB transparency reports). But if you have nothing to show because it takes time to build? then go back to point #2 9- IMPORTANT Update abandonned websites (bayc and Yuga like wtf??, just pay someone with a normal wage and do it) 10- Fresh blood in the space (i mean, i think everyone knows that illa is in the music industry and baron drinks redbull... that's quite the part of the "less of this or that") 11- And finally last cherry: structure Yuga as a company, hire people full time, dont pay them hundreds or millions, stack teams, hire managers, not every yuga employee has to be fancy on social media, just hire normal people who work normally but do deliver. this should solve #3 and #9 OVERALL: just BE the best club more than SAYING it. If it truely is, then it doesnt need to be said. Less narrative, more action. PS: written with my heart, not with chatgpt PPS: will I get an answer this time? Hug3.
