Yesterday City wardens, housing, wombles, Eco Schools and volunteers all attended the first St Matthews litter pick. 30 bags of litter and waste was collected.

Another successful prosecutions for the city warden service. Forever Scaffolding pleaded guilty at the Magistrates court to erecting unlicensed scaffolding. Total amount payable to court: £1,093.66

City Wardens have had a successful prosecutions against Top Tier Scaffolding who pleaded guilty to all 4 x charges of erecting unlicensed scaffolding. The total costs and fines payable to the court are £2,914.94

A shout out on International Women's day to the officers of the City Warden Team, who do an amazing job across the city dealing with Environmental Crimes.

The Troon city warden has investigated a complaint about flytipping on private land. The owner was contacted to clear the land and repair the fence. The result is Full Compliance.

Another successful prosecution in the Magistrates Court for the city wardens. Essex Access Scaffolding Ltd were found guilty or erecting unlicensed scaffolding. the full fines and costs totalled £2149.45

A flytip was reported near Uppingham Road/ Bridge Road. After an investigation the culprits have been found and fined £600. If the fine is not paid the case will go to the Magistrates Court.

Another investigation into flytipping has resulted in a £600 fine and costs being issued for this waste on Woodshawe Avenue. If the fine is not paid then a file will go the Magistrates Court
