The 80th anniversary of D-Day will be marked with a beacon lighting event in Queen's Park in Loughborough on Thursday. The event will start at 7.30pm before Loughborough resident and former Territorial Army Major, Jane Bryson lights the beacon at 9.15pm. charnwood.gov.uk/pages/dday
