BREAKING: The WIAA has required Milwaukee Pulaski & Milwaukee Bay View to forfeit all games this year and informed the schools they will have a two-year playoff ban, WSN has learned. The MPS office did not turn in required paperwork that switched Pulaski & Bay View conference alignments for this year. MPS has for many years had an elevation/relegation system, where the top team in the Blackbourn Division (the weaker of the two Milwaukee City Conference Divisions) goes up to the Richardson Division (the stronger division), and the last place team in the Richardson moves to the Blackbourn. This is technically Conference Realignment, and requires WIAA approval, which is typically granted as a fast track when the information is submitted with support from all 14 athletic directors. The MPS office did not provide the required paperwork or go through the proper process this year, which has also been an issue in the past. There have been discussions of appealing the decision. #wisfb
