Hamas’ Secret Letter to Iran Reveals Operational Threats Over the weekend, Hamas sent two letters to Iran’s Mojtaba Khamenei. The public, official letter was formal and diplomatic, vaguely referencing the conflict. But we now reveal the secret side letter, hidden until today. Its tone is combative, bold, and confrontational – a clear declaration of operational intent, not just diplomatic courtesy. Hamas asserts in the letter that it is aware of “schemes to restrain our hands under the guise of agreements” and makes clear that “the organization will not compromise on its weapons under any circumstances.” The letter calls for a full-scale activation of all fronts to “extract a price from Israel” and explicitly mentions cooperation with other terror groups: “Together with our brothers in the resistance axis in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, under your leadership, we will achieve the next victories.” Hamas sharply criticizes Gulf states seeking normalization with Israel: “The normalization camp is a losing camp. They didn’t even dare protect those who found shelter in their bases.” In conclusion, the secret letter urges an uncompromising, multi-front escalation. This is a major revelation of Hamas’ true operational intentions.

Bahrain says an Iranian strike damaged a desalination plant, marking a new phase of the conflict targeting water infrastructure. Gulf countries rely heavily on desalination. Qatar nearly 100%, Kuwait and Bahrain ~90%, Oman 86%, Saudi Arabia 70%. The strike came after U.S./Israeli airstrikes targeted Iran's desalination plant on Qeshm Island.
