@Lordadus @kexy_payn Meanwhile, over 2.5 billion people believe in a burning bush that talked to a dude and based their lives around it.
English

@kexy_payn This is the part of the show that makes less sense to me. Like who the hell would believe that Hank has a meth empire? There wouldn't be any evidence to accuse him
English

@ToraUEFN @FNCreate @TimSweeneyEpic Looking forward to seeing your kitchen of handcrafted pans, pots, cutlery, artisan-made furniture, self-made or tailor-made clothes etc...
Because you haven't bought mass-produced slop goods, I hope?

@piotr_zawadzki @johannesmkx Appeal to common sense is a logical fallacy, so we know that your mind is inherently illogical.
Perhaps you don't have the mental faculties to deal with information like this objectively.
It's ok, most people are not logical or intelligent, and even fewer are both.
English

@johannesmkx How can a common sense person ever believe that a black person left Africa and suddenly turned white because it was cold or developed monolid eyes because it was windy? It's an absolute garbage.
English

The face of the 'Danish' Tollund man is 2,400 years old. It is identical to a North European man today. No, he was not black. He was a White man thrown into a bog, and the bog that preserved him turned his skin black.
The point is rather this: If our faces didn't change ONE BIT for over 2,400 years, then what makes anyone think we were still looking like Central Africans 4,800 years ago?
The answer may shock you. We were never from Africa.

English

@TheGerdIsDaWord @tjstebbing I mean it DOES make sense, since they got a warped understanding of reality and the people living in it.
But the scale is still concerning.
English

@TheGerdIsDaWord @tjstebbing There is no question that they are willing to walk into a wood chipper just because it sounds funny. This "child", afaik, is software that is given a name, is neither looking like a child nor behaving its perceived age.
Just makes no sense people thinks this is how a child act
English

Girl-dad here, my daughters are in their early 20s now.
To all the guys out there who society told being a responsible father was a fate worse than death, and who are now getting a glimpse through Pragmata of what fatherhood might be like:
You were lied to hard, sorry bro, being a father is the most amazing thing on earth. But it's not too late, go find a good woman, marry her, raise a family, provide, be responsible, go all in. Be the protector you were made to be.
You've got this, king.
The Bugle Daily@TheBugleDaily1
The fact that a game like Pragmata that has characters that form a father daughter bond is the least bit controversial tells me society is fucked up beyond repair. If you are offended by this game, you are a miserable human being.
English

@Blodhthringa @tjstebbing You do understand that it's supposed to be a 6-7 year old kid, not a 3 year old?
English

@LemasiveSwe @tjstebbing Kids are definitely like this. Or at least mine are. Not all the time, right? Like they have moments where they drive me crazy, but there were so many moments in this game where I can point to times I've experienced with my kids that were so similar and familiar.
English

@singapore6343 @tjstebbing Your retort means nothing, this is portrayed as a 6-7 year old, and behaves as if she were 2-3 years old.
This is a random video I found of a kid who is 6 speaking and behaving.

@LemasiveSwe @tjstebbing No, kids are like that. The well adjusted ones, anyway.

@ericernerstedt @Globalstats11 Du förstår inte varför Sverige ändrar storlek?

@Globalstats11 This can’t be right, it looks like it’s changing in size throughout.

@salsasunchips @sola_chad That they don't function well as women? This is not an argument; this is a fact.
English

@LemasiveSwe @sola_chad You were implying that having children is a major part of society and that a woman is functionally bad if she doesn’t have a child.. “forcing” them to reproduce if they want to be a “good woman.” What would you say about women who physically cannot reproduce?
English

@salsasunchips @sola_chad I don't think I ever said anyone should be forced to do anything.
So, who are you replying to?
English

@LemasiveSwe @sola_chad Just because something is a major part of society doesn’t mean EVERYONE should have to do it. The women who want to be moms should be moms and the women who recognize they don’t want to be a mother should not be forced into it, and there’s no shortage of either of these women
English

@salsasunchips @sola_chad I doubt anything rests solely on one thing, but it's a major part of society.
But you can be a bad woman (function) and still a good person (individual).
English

@sola_chad Nah I held my nephew a handful of times but mainly thought of how expensive and tiring it must be to be a parent. It’s not for everyone and people need to accept that others just might not want kids. A good woman’s value doesn’t solely rest on reproducing
