These African countries will soon run into the same problem China has. Their skyrocketing population will hit a wall because those countries can't sustain such massive populations. They can't even feed the populations they currently have without Western aid. The African population boom will hit a wall.

Because the West has subsidized these nations for about 60 to 70 years. They saw it as a way to influence, engage in "human rights" push, take advantage economically, etc etc Ultimately though when you give a nation a bunch of food without those people having developed properly to build the infrastructure or develop solutions in their environments and area for larger populations like Europe had for hundreds upon hundreds of years. You end up causing mass population booms, leading to a failure to properly build infrastructure for conservation of natural resources, or recycling, etc etc And well yea. Let these nations develop on their own, without tons of welfare aid. We have been giving people "fish" for decades, without letting them learn how to "fish" or teaching them how to "fish"
