@LemonadeUpgrade I think it’s all mute really. Nobody stopped their play. Advantage was it fell at Eng player feet 60 odd yards from goal. All played the whistle. So far from big controversy twitter /media want to make it.

Norway 🇳🇴 would have won yesterday if it hadn't been for the referee, who disallowed one of their goals after the fact.
England made a goal right after the ball hit a camera wire. The referee did not disallowed that even though he should've.

Before England’s goal in minute 45+2 against Norway, the sensor in the Connected Ball showed no peak in the 'heartbeat of the ball' when in the air, and therefore no evidence that the ball touched the overhead wire and changed the movement of the ball.

I am proud of Norway. We all expected a close call against England, they have a solid team in this World Cup
While I hold firm opinions on certain VAR and refereeing decisions, I will not address them here. Ultimately, Norway once again proved themselves to be highly resilient. Taking all factors into account, our team competed with determination and skill to the very end
Last time Norway qualified back in '98 we got knocked out at R16. This time, we reached the quarterfinals, and we kept our diabolical streak vs Brazil leaving Neymar in tears
There's definitely a next time, and we'll undoubtedly be there 🇳🇴

Overall though was a tough watch, England have struggled on that back line the whole tourney and makes me worry everytime... In the end though this team has fuckin grit and they find a way which is critical to the final push of this cup.
