The truth is: most rewards in web3 are still transactional. This is why they are not working. You do something (x) and you get something for it (y). A direct transaction. Which means you will always get mercenaries that cash out asap. What if we shifted it to: You do something over a longer period and that becomes part of your identity? Something you can be proud of. Something that you can leverage to show your involvement and achievement in the space. Accruing status instead of some random token. Bullish on digital identities.
