Glad to see our work highlighted by @ElsevierNews. As part of my PhD work, we found that how childhood adversity is reflected in brain connectivity is linked to lifetime physical activity, suggesting that behavioral factors may shape how these effects are expressed.

Neurological trauma is not permanent. Novel study in @SOBP’s BP:CNNI shows physical activity reshapes neural connectivity and makes the brain more resilient after childhood trauma spkl.io/6013AL1gd #MentalHealth #Neurology #Neuroplasticity @LemyeZhr

Our new study, titled 'Brain connectivity disruptions in PTSD related to early adversity: a multimodal neuroimaging study,' has just been published! This work explores how adverse childhood experiences (ACE) and PTSD shape the brain's structural and functional connectivity.

Slow down, read more theory and philosophy, sit with ideas for longer, challenge assumption and normal ways of working, don't do small projects, think big, publish less, and only deliver social science that matters.
