Land public transport and land goods transport are still heavily subsidised under the Skim Kawalan Diesel Bersubsidi (SKDS). They are able to purchase diesel at RM1.88 per litre and RM2.15 per litre respectively, provided they are registered with KPDN. We have not seen complaints of express bus ticket prices soaring because of this. As for the prices of goods, there are other factors that will contribute to higher prices in the foreseeable future but registered logistics and transport companies are still shielded by subsidised diesel under SKDS.
