Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Fatima Maada Bio, has dismissed allegations linking her family to Dutch drug fugitive Jos Leijdekkers during an interview with the BBC😈😈 wix.to/jkTipzB

🚨 CARTEL BROTHER BUSTED AGAIN: Drug Kingpin’s Sibling Nabbed in Istanbul — While “Bolle Jos” Remains Protected in Sierra Leone Turkish intelligence (MİT) and Istanbul Narcotics Police have struck again. Wilhelmus Adrianus Leijdekkers (also known as Harry, 51), a key figure in one of Europe’s most ruthless Dutch cocaine networks, was arrested on Sunday, 17 May 2026 (or Saturday 16th per some reports) in a targeted operation in Istanbul’s Pendik district. He is wanted via Interpol Red Notice for large-scale cocaine trafficking, money laundering, and handling the financial operations of his notorious younger brother. This marks the third time Wilhelmus has been detained in #Turkey. He was previously arrested in the big 2023 crackdown on the Leijdekkers network, released controversially by a Turkish court in 2024 despite extradition requests, and fled only to be caught again now. Wilhelmus is the older brother and key associate of Joseph Johannes Leijdekkers, better known as “Bolle Jos” (Chubby Jos / Bello Jos). Bolle Jos, one of Europe’s most wanted drug lords, has been sentenced in absentia to 24 years in the Netherlands (plus additional sentences in Belgium) for importing multiple tonnes of cocaine, ordering violence, and running a vast empire. He is currently believed to be living openly in Sierra Leone, where he enjoys high-level protection. Reports link him to local elites, including rumored ties to the president’s family, and he has been spotted at official events. Sierra Leone has no extradition treaty with the Netherlands, making him effectively untouchable. Dutch authorities continue to pursue massive asset seizures (tens to hundreds of millions of euros) from the family’s drug profits. With one brother now back in Turkish custody and extradition to the Netherlands likely, the Leijdekkers cartel has taken another hit — but the boss remains free in his African safe haven, continuing to orchestrate shipments (including links to recent record multi-tonne busts). Stay tuned — extradition proceedings are expected to move quickly.
