🦊🔧 Service Team Spotlight 🔧🦊We pulled this anode rod out of an RV water heater and… well… there’s basically nothing left but a memory and a prayer 😂 I’m not sure we’ve ever seen one worn down this thin. This little guy did its job though — it sacrificed itself to protect the tank from corrosion. That’s exactly what it’s supposed to do… just maybe not ALL the way down to a toothpick 💡 Quick tip for campers: If you’ve got a Suburban water heater, your anode rod should be checked at least once a season. When it’s about 75% gone — it’s time to swap it out. Waiting too long can lead to tank damage, and that’s a much bigger (and more expensive) headache. 👉 Moral of the story: Don’t let your anode rod go full skeleton mode. If you’re not sure what yours looks like… swing by Lerch RV or schedule a service.
