@iamrobtv Yep, I was saying the same thing after completing insanity. Hardcore was sorely missed, I also felt like Leon needed a few more enemies for some of his sections as well.

@iamrobtv Not sure if you have looked into it, but Doom is a pretty fun single player shooter, unless you were looking for multiplayer

I miss pewpew games But feels like nothing out there really interests me anymore in that entire genre & my favorite franchises are a dumpster fire now. COD looks unplayable, Xbox pretends Halo doesn't exist and extractions have just never really done it for me Makes me kinda sad.

Going forward I am 100% done worrying about the length of the Platinum videos For the longest time I've had this arbitrary number in my head that I set for myself of how long one of these videos should be. But the reality is with the way we do these videos and how they've evolved since I first started, they're just going to be long. Because of how much gameplay we show, how in detail we go into with the story, doing the little post game review, everything, we are ALWAYS going to be 90+ minutes. 3 hours from time to time. Maybe even more depending on the game. Unless it was just not as entertaining of a playthrough or game, that's just what it is. The only way around that is to split the videos or just cut stuff entirely and I'd rather not make them at all than do that. This is something I've struggled with internally for a while now, concerned that they're just too long, but I've come to realize most of you love the length. Seems like 99% of the audience has no problem with it and actually prefers it that way. And ironically my longest videos over the years also happen to be the most successful, rewarding, and lucrative. So.. if that's an issue for you, then I'm just not for you, and there's plenty of other Platinum trophy content out there to consume that's more traditional in length 👍

@iamrobtv @Snamwiches As a long time fan of the series, been playing since I was a kid, I love what capcom has done with the remakes with RE4 Remake being my favorite one now, and I played the hell outta the OG's. I think they are doing it the best when it comes to faithful remakes

I'm sorry but if this is how you view remakes you fundamentally do not understand the purpose of a remake. Though I am new to RE, I understand being an OG fan of something and seeing it remade for modern audiences can be frustrating. I've watched countless franchises that I adore undergo tonal and gameplay shifts to keep with the times and it sucks. But the reality is we love those originals because we played those originals. And we played them when they came out or close to it. & the purpose of a remake should be to A.) improve the original and/or B.) make the remake more accessible to a wider variety of gamers, if necessary. Resident Evil Remakes are a perfect example of doing this. OG fans cannot seem to comprehend the general sentiment towards fixed camera & tank controls. YOU loved it and maybe still do. Alot of people do. But 99% of people in the year 2026 are not going to play a PS1 era game with a fixed camera and tank controls to get into a series. That type of game is much more niche than you think it is. To continue growing this franchise, they have to make games people are actually going to play. Capcom recognized this and figured out how to deliver these remakes in a way that respect those past games and keep a lot of the same gameplay elements but in a modern setting. I swear some of these RE elitists would rather not get any new Resident Evil's at all and at that point I question whether or not you're an actual fan.

Finished RE9 all achievements last night, loved the game! I did the insanity run with no bonus weapons, infinite ammo, no infinite ink ribbons, or the Eye spy charm equipped to make it a little more insane. Going to be working on a video for this one. Top 5 Resident Evil for me.

I've knocked out almost all the achievements for Resident Evil: Requiem, all left to do is finish insanity and cut a licker tongue, 30 deaths in so far, trying this without bonus weapons or infinite ammo/ink ribbons/near death charm.

I'm two days late, but happy 3 years RobMob. 3 years ago I took a leap. This guy that wanted to be a YouTuber that had never really uploaded anything but little Call of Duty videos decided to try his hand on this Platinum trophy thing.. & it ended up working out. Almost 50 platinum's and alot of cinema later, we just keep climbing. Appreciate you all for riding with me these last 3 years. It's changed mine and my family's lives in ways I never even really dreamed of. Many more Platinum's, much more cinema, and God knows what else to come. It's only up from here. I love you all. Rolled the credits on RE9 last night, what an amazing game! Had an absolute blast and got about 71% of the achievements done on the first playthrough. Going to have to finish rest to see where I rate this one

Why are Resident Evil 6 fans so aggressive? Finished Leon's campaign yesterday & it's definitely... a video game. Don't intend on playing the other 3 any time soon. I don't hate it. Had some good moments but it is most certainly deserving of the criticism and I would definitely consider it a stain on the series compared to the others I've played so far. But man the comments are wild. The minority of people that like this game don't just like it.. they LOVE it. & are incredibly offended when its criticized. It's so bizarre to me. It's cool to like games that aren't universally liked but idk if I've ever seen a game with this type of cult following.

@iamrobtv @RapidReacts 5 is great, but 6 is.... not that good, but if you do it coop you can get through, just make sure to do atleast Leon's campaign. Not doing 7 or 8 won't be to bad because it was kinda its own thing

Trusted sources have notified me that RE5 and RE6 are in fact more important to play before RE9 than RE7 & RE8 Just DEVIOUS levels of locked in with streams in the coming week. I'm talking 12 hour stinkers. (don't quote me on that) The marathon begins Monday 2/23 with my dawg Rapid!

@hungrygoriya It didnt realize that the coop mode was separate from the single player. Thats really cool! Really fun game!

@Lerkinz That's awesome! I saw that there were quite a few co-op levels to enjoy. I didn't quite make it to the end of the single player portion, but it'd be cool to try some co-op stuff in the future as well.

I played Hunter Hunted last night for the first time and it was awesome! If you haven't heard of it but enjoy some action platforming with light puzzles, it's really easy to pick up and play. I had a great time getting blown up 💜

Started watching the Resident Evil films. These are literally the worst pieces of media I've ever consumed. Not a single plot point or line of dialogue makes any sense at all whatsoever. I love them dearly and I want to watch every single one now.

Probably the longest I've gone without uploading in a while. But just know.. it'll be worth the wait. RE4 Platinum video is coming together nicely. Still a good ways out but hoping to stream RE7 sometime next week.

Base game, DLC 1, 2 and 3 all fully finished and 100%'d. Now it's the Hardcore run... my pizzle is about to get a right good yanking. Wish me luck.
