Shohei Ohtani has been out of the Dodgers lineup on his last 3 pitching days.
Dave Roberts made the decision to have him in the lineup today. He homered on the first pitch of the game.
Now, he gets set to take the mound with his 0.82 ERA.
He's unreal.
The Netherlands has become the first country in the world to successfully eliminate stray dogs, ensuring that every dog has a home.
This remarkable achievement stems from a combination of strict animal welfare laws, large-scale spaying and neutering programs, and a strong culture of responsible pet ownership. The Dutch government has long supported widespread sterilization initiatives and enforces tough penalties for animal abuse and abandonment.
While an estimated 200 million stray dogs exist worldwide, the Netherlands stands out as a global leader. In Dutch cities, it is common to see dogs riding in bicycle baskets, relaxing under café tables, and even joining their owners on public transport, a reflection of how deeply integrated pets are into everyday life.
The country now serves as an inspiring model for animal welfare, demonstrating how coordinated policy, cultural awareness, and compassion can effectively solve a challenge that continues to affect many other nations.
@NFLonFOX@RalphVacchiano how do people think the Broncos are that good of a team? none of their wins are confidence inspiring, even them beating the Bills was a game that had to go into OT even with Allen pissing the ball away 3 times.
"I'm actually going to go with [Mason] Miller at this point, I think he's the most valuable player in the league."

Craig Stammen announces that Ben Fritz will handle pitching duties while Ruben Niebla attends to a family matter for the next two days, if Bradgley Rodriguez will follow the same routine he did the last time he started and his expectations for Matt Waldron:
@NHLRussell If you expected him to say anything drastic then that’s on you. It’s actions, not words. Do I expect it torn down? Absolutely not. Should it be, you bet your azz.
That was essentially an hour long way of saying “we’re right there.”
If you’re expecting big changes this offseason for the Kings, don’t hold your breath.
@S0calkpr@closfeliciano@DennisTFP@spliifd He really lit up under Smith. Line #2 was great under Smith. I just don't think he is 1C material until he can start winning FO and needs to gain 10 to 15 lbs of muscle. Dude has speed and skill tho
@closfeliciano@DennisTFP@spliifd Ok so they played 55 in a defensive role and didn't expect him to produce. If they did expect him to produce, he failed for a majority of the season and didn't look to replace him. That, to me, is less responsibility. Bottom line, he's not a 1C.
In what may be his last pregame avail, LAK interim HC DJ Smith heaped praise on Quinton Byfield.
Claims 55 best player in series, drew comparisons to Stutzle, Matthews and Nylander(coached all 3).
Believes his best season will be next, when "given the keys" to lead as 1C.
