@Rokewood @rokewife @Hotcoffeeeyes Devastating for the community. St Mungoes was the centre of so much in Cumbernauld, and remained that despite recent issues. My late-dad was part of the team which led the restoration of the church. It’s a very sad day for the town.

For lifelong Cumbernauld residents like me, @rokewife, our now adult children, my sister @Hotcoffeeeyes, the destruction by fire of St Mungo’s Church is a very melancholy moment. This iconic copper-roofed building captured the best of our architecture & community ambition

The bold ambition to transform NHS care set out in the 10 Year Health Plan announced by @NHSEngland today is very welcome and we look forward to how it will help us realise our strategy to deliver better, faster, fairer healthcare for all.

The iconic London black cab has a new role, taking patients to hospital appointments. These hybrid vehicles, by LEVC, are part of our non-emergency patient transport. They're sustainable, wheelchair accessible and have covered 60,000 miles with 13,000 patients so far.
