So beyond happy and excited to say I’ll be joining @mtlgazette as a reporter in the coming weeks. It feels like a homecoming but also a new challenge and opportunity. I grew up reading the paper and I was lucky to snag two summer internships so this is a dream come true.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve started as a senior comms. specialist with @UnityHealthTO & @REACHNexusCA - a national research team led by @SeanBRourke working on HIV, Hep C & other STBBIs in Canada. I'm sad to be leaving journalism but really excited for what comes next.

@DiverseCauses Agreed! Both these things are absolutely luxuries.

@andrewglobal Sorry to hear, Andrew! Best of luck for your next move.

@Flights_ofFancy Don't know how long you're spending in Mainz, but I had a lovely time in Heidelberg, not too far away. Could be a day trip maybe?

@withfilesfrom @TraversFellows Amazing, congratulations! Important work.

Extremely honoured to be this year's @TraversFellows.
I'll be headed to three African countries in a few months to look at Canada's role in supporting gender and sexual minorities, and what people on the ground want us know about the global pushback on LGBTQ+ rights.

@DiverseCauses Ok what. I already stopped shopping there, but... what.

@CJancelewicz @sarahdocouto I will happily take a side of Doritos next to my drink.

@neilahuber @DiverseCauses Yes! Heard great things about Octopath.. haven't had the chance to try it yet.
English

@DiverseCauses ...for all its faults, I still loved FFVIII. A good recent example of this genre is Bravely Default II.

@tcpritchard The saner method was to split the horologe with someone.

@LeslieYoung My fave BDT memory is my buddy ordering l'Horloge and then getting progressively angrier at how much beer he was expected to drink.

RIP Brasseurs du Temps, raise your hand if you ordered L'Horloge and lived to tell about it

@karenkho My first time in Japan, I brought back assorted 7-11 snacks and drinks as gifts for two family members. It was a hit.

@KayLaframboise Glad to hear you got her back! My cat once ran away while we were on vacation and we didn't get him back for six months! He's currently downstairs begging for treats, so there's always hope.

@Cain Related comfort food viewing: Midnight Diner, a Japanese show about the patrons of a late-night diner in Tokyo. Each episode revolves around a character's favourite food and they all learn lessons... very sweet and soothing.
