I feel like Rolin and the trailer showcases a side of Lestat that I think older fans have kind of forgotten. Some seem sort of married to this specific idea or aesthetic of the character and forget that Anne described him as a man of action, he’s a hero, as much as a monster!

Whenever I have to do something hard, I think of Lestat and somehow, I’m able to do it! Anne felt the same way. All the characters have GOOD and BAD qualities, and for all their flaws, they have aspects that make them relatable, and even admirable!
