P7 created chalk art inspired by the artist Kadinsky. Their task was to create abstract pieces that reflected their emotions, feelings, interests. The final pieces were stunning.
P6 have been lucky with the weather this week and we managed to get outdoors again for our Reading Circles. Children were keen to get going with their books, setting themselves homework targets too!
Time was spent reflecting on what type of readers we identify ourselves as in P6 before forming new reading circles based on a shared interest. We then headed outdoors and made a start on reading the books we selected. We are excited to get stuck in properly next week!
Welcome back P6! You all looked very smart when you returned on Tuesday after the summer break. It was great to see you all looking happy coming in the front door first thing! Here’s to another brilliant year together!
A final farewell to Ms Frain our Head Teacher, Mrs Scott our SPSA and of course our wonderful P7s! Good luck to everyone! We will miss you! A huge thank you to Leo and Rueben’s mum Erin for coming to pipe the children out on their final day! Amazing!🤩
Keir and Danny P5 planned and delivered an excellent rugby session. They received some brilliant feedback that they are taking on board for their follow up session when Arthur E returns in P6. Well done boys - a brilliant session!
Ailidh in P5 brought in her sequel to her original Spy Fox story - The Dark Truth of What Happened to Dr Hammer! She read it beautifully, with such confidence and received some wonderful feedback from her peers! Well done, we can’t wait to hear the next one!
