What an absolute shocker of a race and result. The fact Baron Noir couldn't win says it all.

2.55pm - This is what's good about Aintree. You get 4/6 about a 1/3 shot. Sober Glory is a good thing. The only way Baron Noir reverses form is if Sober Glory falls or massively underperforms. Similar track to Newbury as well where Sober Glory has looked monstrous. NAP

1.45pm - Played Joyeuse already. Has a good chance but not a Betfair Hurdle hose in job. Throw in the unknown Emid'io Pepe 17/2 and a wild Captain Teague at 25s+. 6 places PP/Skybet. Competitive race though.

5.15pm - Probably about 5 or 6 I've got my eye on but wait to see how the day goes. Lots of potential with The Mighty Celt, Melon, Last Kingdom on the list. The rag Wild Bill Hickock 100/1 worth a swing. Could pull up after a furlong but enough form to be interesting.

4.40pm - Happy to go with the fresh Dalston Lad 8/1. Loves the trip, improving and just think the long straight will suit Skelton. Was pretty impressive last time and form ties in with Albert Bartlett.
