Selling Andreas Christensen, Marc Casadó, Ronald Araújo, Robert Lewandowski, and Marcus Rashford isn’t even up for debate it’s a MUST. There’s zero reason for any of them to stay. Their exits are non-negotiable. Especially Araújo. We don’t even need a big €50m offer. Just getting his salary off the books would be a massive step towards fixing the 1:1 rule, easing the wage bill, sorting FFP, and finally giving us breathing room in the market. Same energy for Jules Koundé (who’s been well below his level all season and making costly mistakes) and, to a lesser extent, Alejandro Balde. Balde has been reduced to backup behind Cancelo, and his attacking limitations plus defensive weaknesses are now impossible to ignore. The board needs to stop playing emotional football and start making cold, smart decisions no more pandering to players or agents. We should seriously cut spending on left wing and both full-back positions, then redirect every euro into two game-changing signings: a world-class striker and a world-class centre-back.

Let’s talk about this guy, Marcus Rashford. The problem Barcelona fans have with Marcus Rashford is the same problem Madrid fans have with Kylian Mbappé—stay with me. Because you see, it’s not about the G/A. For a matter of fact, Marcus Rashford has managed to bag 23 G/A so far this season. The thing is, if you’re playing at Barcelona under Hansi Flick’s system, no matter how bad you are, you will score goals,unless you’re not a professional footballer. Because the system is set up to create chances after chances. Even Ferran Torres, who manages to miss like 3–4 chances every single game this season, isn’t far from Kylian Mbappé in terms of non-penalty league goals in La Liga. Do you know how crazy that is? You watch Mbappé play,he’s the La Liga top scorer and UCL top scorer. On a normal basis, should Madrid fans even complain about this guy? But when you watch their team play, Kylian Mbappé in no way raises the overall team performance. He’s more like leveraging the whole team’s performance for himself to score. If you watch Marcus Rashford play in a Barcelona shirt, does he in any way raise the level of the team? Does he enhance the overall performance? He’s of course going to score because the team creates multiple chances every single game.
