@Z4chOnEarth @rah_66_comanche Alex is the one who has a good knowledge about Starship program and is realistic/optimistic . Ryan probably knows more about Starship and is pessimistic but sometimes he's right.
Alex knows more about Falcon 9 and SpaceX overall then Starship. I love Alex more as a person though

Notice how they're doing the same mission profile as in flight one. This is because starship is not a serious program and will never achieve anything significant

SpaceX is currently aiming for July 16th at 5:45PM CDT for its thirteenth flight. For the first time, it will deploy twenty real V3 Starlink satellites, six of which will scan Starship’s heat shield to analyze it. Starship will also attempt to relight its engine again; it was skipped on the last flight due to an issue with the engine. Super Heavy is reattempting a landing in the Gulf after experiencing a failed boostback last flight. The whole flight is expected to last just over an hour; whatever happens, excitement is guaranteed!

Messing around with the recent environmental assessment information published earlier today for ship contingency landing zones. If my extrapolation is near-correct it looks like the first orbital flight will go into a ~48.7º profile, only two orbits and it's down in just about three hours

@CyberWiz_YT @Blaze_R935 Yes but its not the first time, after tests at MCGregor they get more and more data and it may result in some hardware changes in all engines (especially after RUDs)

Raptor 3 is designed to fly without a shield but Flight 12 was the first time they were flown in that environment so it not surprising they found some issues. Lucky it sounds like a simple fix.

@sintropia_acc @Sn25isthebest Honestly I find the afternoon launches better for us europeans. Because it’s basically guaranteed you’re not going to be busy when it launches even if it is like midnight/very early morning.
