Crimson Desert (2026) vs RDR2 (2018)

WATCH: "Professor Jiang" explains that we could fix poverty by printing infinite money but we don't because we want people to be poor. I am not joking.

“If the banks can print as much money as possible, why do we have poverty?” 💀💀

"This demonstrates a clear hierarchy, Israel sits at the very top"

Catholicism has 2000 years of institutional accumulation, so the person who adheres to it feels like an heir to Augustine, Aquinas, Gothic cathedrals, the Renaissance, a millennial intellectual tradition. It's identity by association, he didn't produce anything, but feels he "belongs" to a lineage that did. The Protestant at least has to fend for himself with the Bible. The Catholic leans on an institution and inherits prestige effortlessly. And this arrogance manifests itself in a specific and irritating way, the traditionalist Catholic looks at the evangelical and sees an ignorant hick, looks at the atheist and sees a shallow materialist, looks at the Protestant and sees a heretic without tradition. He positions himself as the adult in the religious room "we have Thomas Aquinas, you have a garage pastor". It's a hierarchy of status disguised as theological depth.
