@RGE_McC There are a decent number of companies here but a lot of them are very small. There are a few bigger ones who are gaining some traction and often looking for new people though so things are improving

@RGE_McC It depends which sub discipline within game development you are interested in, but in general it's less about qualifications and more portfolio work or previous experience even if that's just hobby projects. NI Screen regularly run training programmes that might be useful

@Level91Ent Hi folks. I’m a 38 yr old biomedical engineer & thinking of a career change. Been gaming my whole life. What skills/qualifications would I need to get into games development? Are there many employment opportunities in NI (I wouldn’t want to set up on my own)?

@Level91Ent So you pick the track with the fewest hairpins possible...

@Level91Ent Why is there such a drastic difficulty spike between Ada's story mode and Ibba's? And then why is Viv's car easier to drive than Ibba? Why is the progression broken?

@Level91Ent That works with the other cars all well and good, however tapping the brakes in the Dragon is horrible because it has the opposite effect of every other car

@BobOmbWill Tap the brakes to change angle faster

@Level91Ent I highly doubt that. The Dragon responds way too slowly for its namesake. I won't even be holding the gas or drift button but it will keep hanging onto an angle, sending me into a wall and completely ruining my run.

@BobOmbWill It's different for different people, but personally the Dragon is my favourite car to drive. It takes a bit to get used to, but Viv's story is substantially more difficult. Viv's story still requires me to practice. I could do Ibbas with my eyes closed

@Level91Ent It is significantly easier to go fast in than Ibba's car

@Level91Ent @InertialDrift Alright that makes more sense. I didn't realize it used the fastest time. I had assumed both the ghost and I start at the same speed

@Level91Ent Why does the first Ghost Race with Ada in @InertialDrift start out so one sided? Not only does her car spin out at the start, buy the ghost flies by at full speed before I even get across the line
