@TheKillingBloke @TheDrkPunisher I think at the time the third season was a bomb so they had no choice but to cancel. It was a great show though and still not a lot of comic animated shows with that dark style.

@LeviPerk300 @TheDrkPunisher Agreed, I loved that show & I’m not a huge Spawn fan (not saying I don’t like him but I didn’t know him well) and that show put him on the map for me and if it had finished it honestly might have been my favorite. The animation & Keith David> Hate how it went out cliffhangered.

@LeviPerk300 @TheDrkPunisher BTAS did win an Emmy for the reinvention of Mr.Freeze,they also created Nora Fries,Montoya & Dagget. The other shows had potential but never reached their fullest heights. As a kid I was team Spider-Man TAS & in my teens I was team spawn 90’s but in some ways both got squandered.

@TheKillingBloke @TheDrkPunisher Agreed. Many came and went but it’s hard to doubt the influence Btas had. Created new characters which are so prominent today (Harley Quinn), made Mr. Freeze a villain that we can sympathize with, and also won an Emmy I think. It set the standard for animated comic shows.

@TheDrkPunisher @LeviPerk300 Others had potential but none of them in their entirety are as good as the original BTAS, I love Spider-Man, Hulk Iron-Man, X-men & Spawn 90’s animated series but none fully fleshed out or stood as consistently as the Batman did. The rest got canned or has studio interference.
