For as much criticism as I’ve had with this season of The Boys, Homelander becoming a pathetic, sniveling little rat the second he loses his powers is so perfectly on brand for him after everything we’ve seen.

@Levi_resi @7Spideycomics The reason Ryan and Butcher have their powers in the first place was because of homelander, so for them to lose their powers with homelander is symbolic of them growing past their trauma.

But fr that Boys series finale was just yeah it was “neat” but I’m not gonna say it was the perfect finale ever at all

@InvincibleIntel Literally everything I thought needed to happen happened it just all happened in a very rushed way that felt like there was zero budget or effort put into it

All I’m seeing with the negative comments about the finale is “The Show didn’t End the way I wanted to and I need the engagement” Guys it’s definitely not the best season but everyone had a great ending to their characters and where they ended up. But again the thing you learn about people is not everyone is satisfied with the way they wanted it.

@SammyJReacts I was genuinely more broken and sad watching the final season of Stranger Things then i was with The Boys. i really wanted this final season to give me the same feeling.

Regardless of how mixed this season of The Boys has been for me, a little piece of me dies whenever a show I love ends after a long run. Man was it a diabolical fuckin run. That finale put the spotlight on Karl Urban & Antony Starr. Homelander & Butcher. Take a bow fellas 🔥
