It was a pleasure to be able to drop by at the Orchard Garden Estate’s Coronation party, organised by, UK Latin Community, @LewishamCouncil and @ClarionFutures. Great to meet the residents and organisers. sadly missed dancing and Brenda Dacres. @LewishamCouncil

I was delighted to attend the street party 🎉at “Mercia Grove” on a lovely sunny day. Being there gave me an opportunity to have interesting conversations with local residents, guests, and local businesses entrepreneurs. Loved the cakes.🎂 @LewishamCouncil

Wonderful to join local residents at the Coronation street party on Mercia Grove! 🤴🎉🎂 Was a particular fan of the Coronation quiche & the delicious pavlova. All the cakes were truly GBBO standard!!😋 Thankfully much better weather today! Hope you're all having a great day☀️

Great to join residents and talk to @BBCRadioLondon this morning about Citizens House. This pioneering partnership between @LewishamCouncil and local residents has delivered fantastic, affordable homes for the community at prices set, permanently, by what local people earn.

Brilliant turnout!! I feel so privileged and proud to be part of such a vibrant and diverse community, where diversity is cherished and celebrated.

In Lewisham we will always stand up racism and bigotry. So we are out again as a community - a beautifully diverse and inclusive community. We will always come out and stand up for our values and in solidarity #Unity #Lewisham 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

It was great to attend the fun filled engagement session at the Lewisham CommUNITY Space yesterday. 😊 This pilot project provides a safe and productive space for our youth, an initiative started by @LewishamCouncil @Enable @LandsecGroup @LondonSport @TheFelixProject !!!

Myself & @AliyaSheikh72 have set up regular meetings with @MPSLewisham LewCentral SNT headed up by Sgt Dan Dewdney. Good to discuss issues such as: VAWG, parcel theft in blocks, ASB in car parks, and more. Also went along on the morning patrol to point out casework hotspots!🚶👮🏻‍♂️

Last evening I participated in a very well attended and productive Lewisham Central Ward panel meeting at Lewisham Police Station. Issues like Lewisham library, anti social behaviour , robberies/burglaries, and various other matters were brought up by the residents and discussed
