Do you remember when it was quite normal for children to go home from school for their lunch? (Some teachers would go home too!) A short walk or bike ride, lunch with a parent or two and maybe even a bit of TV before the afternoon session. I think the respite was very healthy.

In spite of rumours of favouritism, NORD won for a second year because they had the best design. The judges for Best Dressed Window change each year precisely so there cannot be favouritism, or similar.

@simonharris_mbd Yes, sadly many small businesses fall for this "scam" where a place asks for free products or services in exchange for future use - which strangely enough never happens - or "exposure" which means nothing. And there's no guarantee the "exposure" would be positive.
