First XI Match Report- The Firsts looked to make it 5 on the bounce against Accrington today. An unfortunate start to the game, with T. Beal going down with a serious injury. All the Saints wish him a speedy recovery as he awaits surgery. After the stoppage, the Saints kicked on and raced into a 2 goal lead thanks to L. Neal peach and J. Beal header. We slacked off from then conceding a sloppy goal as Accy got one back. Before the break J. Beal restored the 2 goal lead with another clinical header. After half time it was all Saints. We controlled the game and were the best team. S. Keown grabbed a goal after a looping L. Neal cross hit the post and came back to him, and he doubled his tally with another clinical strike after a J. Doolin through ball. The day was rounded off with a J. Beal finish to round off his hat trick. A good few days for JB with the POTM and a Hat Trick. MOTM- That boy JB. Class act. Onto the next. #COYS

Great first team performance today with the 4-2 win. The Saints were quick out of the blocks and some good play left S. Keown through on goal who squared to L. Neal who finished cooly. Shortly after Belvedere got the equaliser a lovely turn round the corner from S. Cullen found S. Keown who slotted home to give us the lead going into half time. After a big graft up the hill in the first half, the saints took control of the game in the second half, defending brilliantly and attacking with intent. The third goal came from a quick break with J. Beal winning a defensive header, who brilliantly worked himself up the field to set up S. Keown for his second of the afternoon with a carbon copy of his goal here last year. The icing on the cake came from J. Hebb, a standout performer who was found by a precise R. Murphy goal kick, controlled and finished. MOTM- A. Simpson, monster display at the back today in all aspects, composed on the ball,strong in the tackle and in the air and a huge voice when he took the arm band 👏👏. GOALS- S. Keown x 2 L. Neal J. Steady 2-0 win for the first team today. A slowish start was soon turned to control as we dominated the ball and made chances. The breakthrough was found by L. Nuttall after some good footwork and a tidy finish. Chadderton caused a few problems with the direct ball but it was dealt with well by the defence. Into the second half it was more of the same, and the second goal came from some silky J. Hebb footwork finding the impressive L. Neal who dispatched. We missed plenty of chances to grab more goals and a few scares from Chadderton nearly made it a tense finish, but great defending and goalkeeping kept the clean sheet. Goals- L. Nuttall L. Neal MOTM- J. Hebb, top top performance controlling the play and causing plenty of issues for the opposition. #COYS
