@carysdavies_52 @Carl_A_Lane Sorry, but whilst I am rambling; a big gripe with volunteers in my local division was demands from higher up for support for national events, stadiums etc; but zero support for long standing small community events that means more to the volunteers.

@carysdavies_52 @Carl_A_Lane Unfortunately it’s people who should be supporting the volunteering from within SJAC that drive volunteers away. It’s not about being paid, it’s about being valued.

As Clinical Director of St John Ambulance Cymru, I am concerned by the decline in volunteering rates, as highlighted in the recent Community Life Survey. In Wales, we must continue to champion and support volunteerism to strengthen our communities. #Volunteering #SJAC #JustInCase
