Due to current road conditions, Lexington Catholic High School will be running a “Delayed Start” schedule on Thursday, February 20, 2025. First period will begin at 9:40am.

To make up for days missed due to inclement weather, all schools in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington will now have in-person classes on Monday, March 10, 2025. This date, originally scheduled as a professional development day, will instead be a regular school day.

Due to weather, Lexington Catholic will have an NTI Day on Wednesday, February 19th. Please check email for more information.

Today, we celebrate Presidents Day—a time to reflect on the leadership, courage, and dedication of those who have shaped our nation. At Lexington Catholic, we encourage our students to lead with integrity and serve their communities, just as great leaders have throughout history.

Last week, the African American Affinity Group gathered for a special lunch while engaging in fellowship, reflection, and celebration of Black History Month. We are grateful for the diverse groups within our school community that creates a welcoming environment for all.

We were blessed to be joined by Bishop John Stowe, who had a busy morning in our halls. Not only did he speak at morning Mass, but he also gave a special blessing to our DanceBlue sponsor child, Laurie Hart. Additionally, he shared a message with our theology classes.

On Saturday, February 1, sophomore ESP MST students competed in the Kentucky American Water District Science Fair. Congratulations to Elizabeth McCoy for winning 2nd place in Physics and Astronomy and MacKenzie Walls for winning 2nd place in Microbiology.
