Last night, our first graders took the stage at the Lexington Three Fine Arts Center for their adorable music program, “E-I-E-I Oops!” Thank you to everyone who came out to support our talented first graders and helped make the night so special.

Lex3 Superintendent Dr. Ashley Atkinson spent time at B-L Primary School today sharing the joy of reading with students as part of our Read Across America Week celebrations! Dr. Atkinson joined classrooms to read & highlight the importance of building a lifelong love of books.

B-L Middle School hosted an inspiring educational walkthrough this morning as part of their African American History Month celebrations. Students brought history to life by researching influential African American figures and sharing what they had learned with their peers.

B-L Primary School was full of excitement today as students took part in our annual Book Parade! As part of our Read Across America Week celebrations, students dressed as characters from their favorite books and paraded around the school. Visit our Facebook page for more pics!

Members of the B-L High School JROTC spent a fun-filled morning dancing, socializing, and building connections with seniors from the Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission's seven senior centers today. Thanks JROTC cadets for giving back to our community!

We were so excited to welcome our friends from Latta Elementary School in Dillon School District Three to BLPS today! They observed our teachers and students working in their flex groups and had a great day as honorary Panther Cubs!

Today, students from the Batesburg-Leesville High School FFA proudly represented our school and community at FFA Legislative Day at the South Carolina Statehouse.

As part of the nation’s 250th birthday celebrations, a fleet of six mobile museums known as the “Freedom Trucks” is traveling across the country sharing the story of our independence. One of these trucks will be at B-L High School next week. Details here: lex3.org/article/2726796.

Our Love and Leadership Conference on February 13th was a success! We are so fortunate to have such talented staff members in #lex3 and this year we chose to celebrate that by hosting our own in-house conference to showcase the expertise that lives right here in our district!
